Dayspring welcomes Colleen (Co) Wong to our team as a Finance & Admin Associate.
Back in the early years of our company, Co Wong was a much beloved software developer at Dayspring. Now we are excited to have her re-join our team as a Finance & Admin Associate. In her new role, Co will work closely with our Office Manager, Amy Mar to help our teams and finances run smoothly.
Co was born and raised in Hawaii, and came to the “mainland” to attend university at UCLA, where she received a B.S. and Secondary Clear Credential, both in Mathematics. Although Co started her career journey as a middle school math teacher, she later explored a variety of other jobs, including software trainer and software developer (at Dayspring). However, Co’s career journey took a sharp right turn when she felt called to serve and work in healthcare. She went back to school, and got her M.S. in Occupational Therapy from San Jose State University. Co worked in the healthcare field as an occupational therapist (OT), and is still a licensed OT today.
Co is grateful for all the experiences that her career journey has brought, and believes that each opportunity has built up her problem solving, critical thinking, and relational skills, and helped form her into who she is today. Now, Co is taking another exciting turn in her journey as she returns to Dayspring as a Finance & Admin Associate.
In her leisure time, Co enjoys taking walks with her husband and their dog Howie, listening to music, and cheering on the Golden State Warriors. Go Dubs!!
